I believe the best marketing doesn’t interrupt entertainment, it is entertainment. I like ideas that give people something worth watching, sharing, wearing, eating or talking about. Then people love the brand more. Like the best transactional friendship.
Before advertising, I made content for a tow-truck software company in Utah and bagged groceries in a green bowtie in Oregon. Before that I was a child, and it was illegal to labor.
